See the size, the cell plug size is 2 inches by 2 inches. They are planted outdoor with full morning sun and rain. Indeed, not too difficult to grow. They will continue to grow after your event.

Planning a wedding? Sempervivum plants for decoration

Sempervivum chicks are beautiful to use in small containers such as mini terra cotta pots (sold online or craft stores), tiny glass containers/ votive candle holders, silver pails, plate decoration, guest name holder, wine corks with magnet, or miniature fairy garden.

Many brides are asking if they are too small.  Sometimes small is good, they catch guest attention. They are not too small, just perfect! Sempervivum chicks are 0.75 to 1 inch diameter. Place them in a cute container, add soil, gravels or colorful decorative sand on top.

If you are unable to plant right away when you receive your plants-don’t worry. Simply roll down the sides of the bags and place them near bright light. You can also set them out on a newspaper or in an open flat so that they get light and air circulation. They will be fine like this until you are ready to plant (weeks or even months, many of them will begin creating root on their own). Do not be concerned if the plants look desiccated, or if a few leaves are drying up. They will quickly recover when planted.
