Aloe barbadensis (Aloe Vera) is known for its medicinal and emollient properties for skin cuts, burns, rash, minor sunburn. Some massage its gel on scalp to have beautiful luscious hair; some use them for facial mask to make skin soft and supple. It is used widely in shampoos and skin lotions. Excellent for indoor plant or in landscapes. Just cut a small piece of the mature leaf, trim the thorny edges, then slice the leaf across its width.
