All starter plants will be the same variety or color. Plants are sold by tray, they cannot be split or mixed with other varieties.
Grown in a standard 10" x 20" tray. Each plant has roots established in plug/soil. Plug will keep the roots intact, so there will not be any transplant shock. PEST FREE plants from CERTIFIED NURSERY.
This native grass’s specific epithet means “broad-leaved”. Sometimes called “inland sea oats,” Chasmanthium tolerates a range of soils, preferring rich and moist but managing in poor and dry. It’s happier in shade than most ornamental grasses. The seedheads put on a nice fall show, gleaming purple/bronze. To prevent unwanted spread, gardeners often dead-head before the seeds shatter and scatter. Height: 4’. Hardy in Zones 5 – 9. We offer Chasmanthium in economical 72s and meaty 38s.

Processing time: 5 to 10 business days + UPS 2-4 days. All orders placed between Monday and Thursday will be shipped on the following Monday. Delivery takes 4 days maximum from ship day.
